The comeback of computer maker Apple has suffered a systems crash. After three years back in the black, the California-based company issued a profit warning, saying it expects to post a loss of up to $250m during October to December this year - the first quarter of the firm's financial year.
The company blamed a "swift industry-wide decline in PC sales" for the situation.
Sales are expected to be $600m less than forecast, down to just $1bn.
Apple is indeed not the only computer firm to issue a profit warning. Gloomy forecasts came from industry leaders like Dell and Gateway.
